HALLOWEEN

Halloween is a holiday in many English speaking countries that is celebrated on the night of October 31st. Children wear costumes and they go to people's homes saying "Trick or treat?" to ask for candy and then people give it to them.
The word Halloween comes from Hallowe'en. This is a contraction of All Hallow's Eve. All Hallows Eve is the day before the Catholic All Saints holy day, that was once called All Hallows (All Hallowed Souls). Hallowed means holy.

Do you celebrate Halloween? How?

RAFA NADAL RECEIVES THE PRÍNCIPE DE ASTURIAS AWARD

"It's an incredible honour for me to receive the "Prícipe de Asturias Sport Award". I'm extremely grateful to the jury and everyone else who chose me as it's an achievement greater than usual, it makes me feel proud.
Not only does it represent great sport values but also, and most importantly, good human values. This award is one of the best things that could happen to me outside of the tennis court because it says to me I'm doing this right when it comes to human values."

U2

U2 is a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.
The band formed in 1976 when the members were teenagers with limited musical proficiency. By the mid-1980s, the band had become a top international group. Their success as a live group was greater than their success at selling records until their 1987 album The Joshua Tree. U2 responded to the dance and alternative rock revolutions, and they reinvented themselves with their 1991 album Achtung Baby! and the Zoo TV Tour. Since 2000, U2 have pursued a more traditional sound.
