HALLOWEEN

Halloween is a holiday in many English speaking countries that is celebrated on the night of October 31st. Children wear costumes and they go to people's homes saying "Trick or treat?" to ask for candy and then people give it to them.
The word Halloween comes from Hallowe'en. This is a contraction of All Hallow's Eve. All Hallows Eve is the day before the Catholic All Saints holy day, that was once called All Hallows (All Hallowed Souls). Hallowed means holy.

Do you celebrate Halloween? How?

"It's an incredible honour for me to receive the "Prícipe de Asturias Sport Award". I'm extremely grateful to the jury and everyone else who chose me as it's an achievement greater than usual, it makes me feel proud.
Not only does it represent great sport values but also, and most importantly, good human values. This award is one of the best things that could happen to me outside of the tennis court because it says to me I'm doing this right when it comes to human values."
