LEO MESSI


Lionel Andrés "Leo" Messi (born 24 June 1987) is an Argentine footballer who plays for FC Barcelona and the Argentina national team as a forward. Considered one of the best football players of his generation and frequently cited as the world's best contemporary player, Messi received several Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations by the age of 21 and won both by the age of 22. He has also won the 2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or at the age of 23. His playing style and ability have drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona, who himself declared Messi his "successor".

In Spain there is a long tradition of this sport.

The model aircraft.

F.C. BARCELONA

Barcelona has won three cups in the same year. These are the “Copa del Rey”, “Champions League”, and the Spanish League. The Champions League was won in May 27 2009 versus Manchester United in the Roma’s Olympic Stadium.
Xavi Hernández scored at 55’ and Lionel Andrés Messi scored at 70’.
The “lions” of Celtic were the first, the mithical Cruyff’s Ajax was the second, PSV was the third, and Manchester United was the last one until today.
Barça won the Leage, the champion and the “Copa del Rey”.
They won the Copa del Rey on 13th May, and on 27th they won the “Champions League”.
It’s the first Spanish team to win the three cups. It’s a great team.

VALENTINO ROSSI

Valentino Rossi is an Italian Moto GP driver. He was born in Urbino in 1979.
He has won 9 times the world championship: 6 times in Moto GP, 1 time in 250cc, 1 time in 125cc and one in 500cc, and is the only driver to accomplish this.
He is known as "The Doctor" and wears the number 46. He is considered by many as the best pilot in the history of motorcycling. He is a striking driver, and designs his own helmets and motorcycles.

FERNANDO ALONSO

Fernando Alonso Díaz was born on July 29th 1981.
His father is Jose Luis Alonso and his mother Ana Díaz.
He also has an elder sister called Lorena. After a long career disputing races of go-cart he raises to Formula 1.
In 2005 and 2006 he obtains his first and second Championship of the World. He changes of motor-racing team and nowadays after going two years in Renault he is to sign up for Ferrari.

I am a Sevilla F.C. supporter. It is the best team.
Sevilla F.C. won two UEFA Cups and a Copa del Rey, and played the Champions League.
I have a poster of Palop, the best player. In the field, Sevilla is competitive, confident and cheerful.

CRISTIANO RONALDO


The Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, from Manchester United, has won the 53rd edition of The Golden Ball that the French magazine France Football presents every year, as you can read in their website. Ronaldo won with his team the last Premiere League and Champions League. He was the favourite one to win the most famous award for a single player in the European football.

LEWIS HAMILTON


Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is the 2008 FIA Formula 1 World Champion.
In one of the most dramatic finishes to a world championship ever, Lewis took the title by a single point after securing fifth position on the final corner of the final lap of the final race of the 2008 season. Lewis finished the year with 98 points, one point ahead of Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who won his home race at Interlagos last Sunday.

REAL MADRID, THE LEAGUE CHAMPION


Real Madrid won Osasuna at El Reyno de Navarra and won their thirty-first League and the second consecutive for the fist time in eighteen years. They celebrated the victory three weeks before the end of the League, the proof that Real Madrid have been the absolute controller of the championship, although there were doubts in January and February.

So congratulations if you are a Real Madrid supporter, and if you support Atlético de Madrid or F.C. Barcelona, I'm sorry.

VALENCIA C.F., THE CHAMPION

Valencia C.F. won their septh Copa del Rey after defeating Getafe C.F. 3-1 at the Vicente Calderón stadium. Mata and Alexis scored two goals in the first ten minutes of the match, but Granero, with a penalty kick, gave hopes to Laudrup's team. In the second half, the "azulones" could tie, Granero crashed a ball in the crossbar, but Morientes finished the match in minute 83 taking advantage of a mistake by Ustari.
